Wow! It’s been awhile since I updated the blog! I’ve had little time for much else with Ryan and Casey’s wedding (this past weekend!) and Hayden’s graduation (next week). I’ll be posting pictures from the wedding (which was wonderful, by the way!) in the days to come. In the meantime, I thought I would share the video montage we played at the rehearsal dinner on the eve of the wedding. Enjoy!

Such a fun video! I don’t know your family personally, but I’ve loved reading your blog in the past few months and Casey and Ryan were on my heart all weekend. Lots of prayers were said on their behalf for their wedding; can’t wait to see pictures! :)

Wow, that was such a great video. Thank you for sharing.
Can’t wait to see the wedding pics :-) .

BTW, I have an 11 and 7 year old and those baby pictures remind me just how fast they grow up!!!

WOW Vicki – watching the beginning of the video made me teary eyed because my kids are growing up so fast…with the oldest being 21…I’m sure a wedding isn’t too far off in the future. What an AWESOME video! What software did you use for that? I like how you incorporated the video pieces to play in it and when he proposed…WOW!!!

Beautiful video! Of course I only “know” your family through this blog, but Ryan and Casey were on my heart Saturday. . .know it was a blessed day for you all. Thank you for sharing :)

Kim, I used iMovie that is loaded on my Macbook. Of course, the hardest part was converting my old analog home movies to digital, but once I did that, iMovie lets me pick and choose clips. The proposal on the ornament was saved to Garageband on my computer just in case the message got lost on the ornament, so I pulled the audio over to iMovie to use. Hope that helps!

Oh my! I was a wedding coordinator for a couple of years and have seen trillions of these videos, but I cry every. single. time. I AM aware during many many many pictures that the photos I take will be the ones that I show in my kids’ wedding videos – ah, it kills me to think of them that big! I know it happens, but I can’t imagine it yet!!! Thankfully mine are 8, 5, 3, and almost 1 so I have a while… Congrats on the new addition to the family. The great news is maybe grandbabies will come in 5-ish years or so!!! :)

Hi, I ran across your blog through Walt Mueller’s blog, and was so surprised to find out that we have known your new daughter-in-law’s family for years! They are such fine, sweet people – I know you will enjoy getting to know them better and better through the years. I pray God’s blessings on Ryan and Casey as they begin their life together.

    In Him,
    Paula V.

Okay you have made me cry big time! Loved the video. You can’t help but think of my own kids while watching. You want the times to go back or to slow down some at lease! And the song from Louis Armstrong’s “What a wonderful World” Great choice, and very classic. One of the most beloved songs ever recorded! One of my favorites..love those old classic songs.. By the way, my family are big fans of Journey too!

Well one event down and many more to go for you! lol Enjoy!

  12. AH!!!! I’m all teary. Thank you for sharing! My oldest son is 7 and I know this is going to be him in NO TIME!

Wow great video. Guess I didnt realize what big War Eagle fans you were. I was a Zeta there myself. What a wonderful blessing to have two families that loved this young people so well. Ryan and Casey will have a wonderful life together.

I loved that video! Makes me regret not taking some of those precious pictures like you did (college acceptance letter, etc.) You did a beautiful job. So, one question….was this the girl you bribed Ryan in offering to take a girl for a steak dinner (an official date)?

  18. admin says:

    Kristi, different girl! :)

I finally took the time to watch this – it was incredible! I loved everything about it. This video will be cherished for many years to come, and by many people (their children, grandchildren, etc etc). Awesome job, and thanks so much for sharing.
